The Makers of Knoxville
PROBLEM
During my experience working at the Maker City in Knoxville, I was moved by the passion all the makers and small business owners had. Yet, I came to realize that some don’t know how to craft great customer experience.
SOLUTION
This is my answer to solve that issue. Through free educational resources that are downloadable through our website, makers can save time and money while being a member of the Maker City.
A collection of video tutorials paired with free, downloadable assets for Makers to use on their packaging.
PROCESS
First, I experimented with Maker personas and divided them into 3 categories since Makers can range from painters/ designers, to wood workers, to ceramic artists. I created printable story
cards to start, but then I wanted to make more Instagrammable content with videos for the Maker City account.
The 3 different styles I settled on are inspired by these color palettes and imagery. Initially before the videos, I created these branded story cards where Makers could actually document their stories for a moodboard (or even a kitchen fridge if they work from home).
